Naropa’s university archive
In this issue, we emphasize Naropa's commitment to social justice, diversity and inclusion, and service. Some pieces examine intersecting social identities and related systems of oppression, domination, or discrimination through pedagogical approaches, compassionate care, and diversity and leadership. This issue features an interview with Director of Inclusive Community Regina Smith and original writing by Dean of Undergraduate Education Carole Clements, former Naropa president Judy Lief, and a blog post from Judith Simmer-Brown, PhD, Distinguished Professor for Contemplative and Religious Studies. We also excerpt talks given by visiting luminaries angel Kyodo williams, Vassar Byrd, and Laura Rendon.
